P&G BEAUTY HOUSE: FROM STRATEGY TO SPACE

For the P&G Beauty House in Schwalbach, EAST END transformed existing spaces into individual experience worlds for the company’s Hair Care brands.

Task & Goals

For the P&G Beauty House in Schwalbach, the existing premises were to be transformed into distinctive brand environments for the company’s Hair Care portfolio. The goal was to present each brand’s positioning, product range, and upcoming innovations in an engaging way while creating a coherent journey through the portfolio.

Following an introduction by the P&G Brand Managers, the guests were guided through a sequence of individual spaces. Each environment translated the strategic objectives and unique identity of the respective brand into a tangible spatial experience.

Idea & Implementation

EAST END developed a curated Brand Journey that turned the existing rooms into individual worlds for Head & Shoulders, Aussie, Pantene Pro-V, Herbal Essences, and the latest addition to the portfolio, Native.

Behind the first wall, guests entered the product world of Head & Shoulders. The brand’s existing portfolio and planned innovations were presented through a focused product staging, complemented by shampoos displayed inside a custom-built shower installation.

The journey continued into the world of Aussie: an atmospheric living room inspired by the 1980s, where the product portfolio was embedded in a playful and characteristic brand setting.

Pantene Pro-V was presented in a space designed to resemble a classic hair salon. A specially designed and custom-built Pantene counter placed the products at the center of the environment and gave the brand a particularly strong presence.

The smallest room was transformed into an immersive world for Herbal Essences. Real rosemary, roses, and coconuts brought the products’ ingredients to life and created a multisensory setting inspired by nature.

The highlight of the Brand Journey was the introduction of Native as the newest brand in the portfolio. A compact reveal moment was created especially for the occasion: initially concealed behind a display, the new brand was unveiled to the guests as the finale of the experience.

Result

The spatial concept transformed the existing premises into a varied yet coherent journey through P&G’s Hair Care portfolio. Each brand received an individual stage that made its identity, product benefits, and strategic direction tangible while clearly differentiating it from the other portfolio brands.

From strategic consultation and spatial concept development to custom production and implementation, EAST END translated the objectives of the individual brands into memorable physical environments. The P&G Beauty House demonstrated how strategic customer meetings can become immersive brand experiences that communicate complex portfolios in an engaging, accessible, and lasting way.
