Oliver Golz

The Hamburg native is founder and managing director of EAST END. He began his career with a degree in marketing and communication and a diploma as a tourism event manager. As a project manager and destination director, Oliver Golz spent long phases abroad over several years. After his return, he founded EAST END in August 1999 and successfully built up the agency for brand experiences. Over twenty years of experience in event marketing distinguish his work methods, whose professed focus lies in the prolonging of brand experiences and the interlocking of suitable communication channels. Oliver Golz advises well-known clients strategically and regularly holds seminars and guest lectures on forward-looking topics concerning the communication branch and trade.

Christiane Wiemann

Since 2017, Christiane Wiemann has complemented the lead team as Director Strategy & Innovation at EAST END. In her field of expertise, she has already gained many years of comprehensive national and international experience in strategy and consulting with a focus on integrated communication strategy, digital strategy, brand and target group strategies and has led trend and innovation workshops. As a lecturer at Miami Ad School Europe, she teaches on the topics of “Brands and Branding”. Most recently, she was Head of Strategy at Serviceplan and Plan.Net, before that she was Planning Director at Grey Group. At EAST END, her work in holistic strategic brand and communications consulting, innovation development and the digital transformation of brand experiences is fully in line with the vision of “Experience Beyond Moments”.

Philipp Dorendorf

As Creative Director for Brand Experience and Communication-in-Space, Philipp Dorendorf has been leading the interdisciplinary creative team at EAST END since 2019. He studied Graphic Design at the Alsterdamm School of Visual Arts in Hamburg, as well as Marketing Communication at the West German Academy for Communication. He is a member of the ADC and teaches at the WAK, the RFH and is a lecturer at the conceptioner’s young academy ‘treibhaus’. Philipp Dorendorf gained many years of experience in his positions at kogag, Avantgarde, facts and fiction, BBDO and insglück and has developed various event formats for diverse companies and brands, including Toyota, Volkswagen Group, Bayer AG, ING, YouTube, P&G, BMAS, Ferrero and Microsoft.

Felix Börner

Felix Börner is the youngest member of the EAST END lead team and has been on board as Director Operations since September 2021. He is responsible for the entire operational event business and all client teams for the agency. He started his professional career 17 years ago at the Munich-based agency G.R.A.L.. After moving to the Hanseatic city, he worked for Jung von Matt, CE+Co, Hassler Made and most recently at Uniplan as Director Event & Head of the Hamburg office. Felix Börner advises clients strategically on the selection of target-oriented event implementations in the field of holistic brand experience: whether live, hybrid or purely virtual – BtB and BtC.
The sustainable emotionalization and activation of the brand and its content is always the focus of his work.
